I wanted the drama of a large chandelier in this room. The glorious high ceiling was begging for it and the space was calling out for it. Really fell in love with the Sputnik Chandelier in the bronze finish. It provides lots of needed ambient light and dims down to just small bits of light that remind me of the head of a wooden match, right before it burns out. I'm just always so amazed at how the beautiful patina of the Mid Century Modern pieces blends so well with old wood floors. It creates a soft, glowing room, that isn't at all oppressive despite the fact that there's a lot of wood in the room.
