This lovely kitchen in a Prospect Lefferts Garden Limestone originally had cabinets only on the left wall. By making the counters just a bit more shallow and finding a few extra inches in the walls when the gut renovation took place, we were able to create a true galley kitchen with cabinets on both sides. The cabinets are custom and designed to look more like nice furniture, so that the view from the dining room through the newly created cut out arch is more formal. The refrigerator and dishwasher are integrated with panels that match the cabinets.
The window and door were resized to let as much light in as possible, while maintaining graceful proportions.
The last 2 photos in this series depict the Before kitchen in all it's 70's glory.
