Village Apartment with an Incredible View
I'm a fan of small apartment design because I think small spaces can sometimes be made to feel more personal than a large space. There's something satisfying about only having what you need and loving what you have. And while this apartment is spacious by most NYC standards, a lot of living goes on in minimal square footage. Having a view that invites the eye outside and invites the outside in, gives the illusion of more space. The views of the river from the kitchen, living room and bedroom in this apartment are spectacular. I love the idea of moving the dining room table in between the settees for an evening supper with friends. I can't imagine anything more luxurious and elegant than using the settees as banquettes and dining while enjoying the city lights.
